Bootstrap Transition Plugin

Transition plugins in bootstrap are used to provide transition effects on the web page. The transition plugins can be added individually by using transition.js along with the JS files. Adding bootstrap.js will also add the transition plugin.

Transition.js is used for the transition emulator of CSS and for the transitionEnd events. The transition.js file is used by various plugins, this is because to check if CSS can support transition.

Use Cases:

Consider the following in which we have defined where transitions are used:

  1. We can use transitions for modals. That is to create a sliding effect or a fading effect on modals.
  2. Transition can also be used with tab plugins to create a fading effect on tabs.
  3. Transition can also be used with alerts to create a fading effect on alerts.
