Push notifications on your iPhone

WhatsApp have a special feature for your iPhone and it is that if someone sends you a message or a group sends you a message but your app is not open to see it, your iPhone will send you a push notification on your display, to let you know that you have received a message and it will show you a preview of the message. This type of alert is set active automatically when you install WhatsApp on your phone, however you can modify it if you want.

To configure the push notifications on your iPhone, just follow the next steps:

1. Go to the WhatsApp application and open it by tapping on it

2. Once you have opened WhatsApp app, you will see some menu tabs at the bottom, go to “settings” tab that it is located at the bottom right of the app, and tap on it

3. When you are on the settings window, you will see multiple commands option, go to the notifications section, located in the middle with the red symbol and tap on it

4. Once you have tapped on the notifications button, the notifications settings window will appear, modify it by going to the message notification section and tap on the circle button of the “ show notifications ” option to activate or deactivate the push notification

5. Modify the group notifications by going to the group notifications section and tap on the circle button of the“ show notifications ” option to activate or deactivate the push notification

6. Modify the preview notification style by going to the show preview section located at the bottom and tap on the circle button of the “ show preview ” option to activate or deactivate the push notification
